Mapletree Living is an offshoot of the Valy Group of Companies. Founded in 1955 by VJ Thomas, Valy Group has its presence in most fields of trade and business. The Family owns Rubber and Spice plantations and has been trading in them for generations . They were the owners and promoters of Cochin Cements which was acquired by Heidelberg Cements of Germany. The Rubber division of the group is vertically integrated, right from plantations to finished products that are exported around the world. It is an enterprise that has pioneered techniques and processes and has evolved into a key industry player. Valy group is one of the largest suppliers of natural rubber to Bridgestone tires India and hold an exclusive C&F for Bridgestone Tires in Kerala with warehouses and distribution hubs in Trivandrum, Cochin and Calicut. The Valy groups presence in real estate is marked by the completion and handing over of their first project, Valy Heights.

Supreme Rubber Company- Natural Rubber packing house and traders of Natural Rubber.
Minerva Merchandising Pvt Ltd-was incorporated in 2006 by the promoters of the Valy Group with the focused intent of sourcing and providing retailers/ wholesalers with a wide range of products that enhance the value, convenience and comfort of people's daily lives
Valy Heights- A premium nine storied apartment complex located in Irimpanam, Tripunithura that is completed and sold out.
Cochin Cements - We were the founders and promoters of Cochin Cements, a cement manufacturing company, that supplied to ACC cements. Cochin Cements was acquired by Heidelberg Cements in 2007.

The family, strongly believed in giving the new generation a strong education, global exposure and encouraged independence to stand on their own. They always knew they would head home, and bring with them a strong work ethic and a globalised outlook.
Thomas Jose Valy, grew up in Kerala, did his graduation from St.Xaviers Mumbai, and went on to do his Masters of Business Administration from Ashland University in the United States. He has worked for multinational companies in the U.S and Canada in various positions, the last being General Manager in Vancouver, Canada to the largest motor home company in North America.
Thomas brings with him, over 20 years of global experience and expertise. Mapletree Living is his vision for creating beautiful, functional homes.
